Product Versions, Backup Software and System Requirements
A new version of the U338-000 was released in 2014, and it uses AI-OTB One Touch Backup software, instead of the PC Clone Ex Lite software used by the original version. In the Support tab on Tripp Lite’s website you will find zip folders for both versions of the backup software. In addition to including the applicable driver, they contain a Release Notes file that will tell you how to determine which version you have, and therefore, which backup software you need to use. Both versions of the U338-000 function the same, with the only difference being the Backup software they use.
